Vegas Utilities exists to make earthwork and underground utility projects less confusing — and to connect property owners with contractors worth trusting.
Vegas Utilities is an independent, locally-focused matching and referral service. We publish educational content about earthwork, grading, and underground utility installation (sewer, water, and storm drain) in the Las Vegas Valley, and we help property owners and developers connect with a small network of licensed contractors we've reviewed.
We started this because site development work is genuinely confusing for people outside the construction industry — the terminology, the number of agencies involved, and the difficulty of comparing bids all make it easy to make an expensive mistake. Our goal is to close that information gap and make the process of finding a qualified contractor faster and lower-risk.
We are not a licensed general contractor, earthwork company, or utility installer. We do not perform, supervise, or guarantee any construction work. We are not a party to any contract between a property owner and a contractor, and we do not collect payment for construction services of any kind.

Vegas Utilities is supported by referral fees paid by our contractor partners — not by property owners. When a project we refer results in signed work, the contractor pays us a marketing/referral fee under a written agreement. This does not change the price a contractor quotes you, and it does not obligate you to hire anyone we introduce you to. We intentionally work with a small, hand-selected group of partners rather than an open, pay-to-play directory, because our goal is a good match — not the highest volume of referrals.
We are not a construction contractor. We connect property owners with independent, licensed contractors. All contracts and work are between you and the licensed contractor. We do our best to recommend qualified partners, but we cannot guarantee the performance, pricing, or availability of any contractor, and we are not responsible for the outcome of work performed by a contractor we introduce you to.
